Ropa Vieja

With this curious name is known a dish of minced beef, classic Cuban cuisine.

  • 464g Beef
  • 10g Garlic
  • 116g Onion
  • 116g Green pepper
  • 40ml Dry Wine
  • 5g Pimenton
  • 120g Oil
  • 1 Laurel(Bay) leaf
  • 4g Chopped Parsley
  • Black pepper in grain to taste
  • Salt to taste

Cook the meat in sufficient water with pepper, bay leaf and salt until it softens, separate the meat into strands. To fry with half of the hot oil until it browns a little, add the paprika and the dry wine. With the rest of the oil sauté the crushed garlic, the onion and the peppers cut in julienne. Add to the meat, sauté all together for a few minutes, add chopped parsley.
